Designing gardens is a wonderful challenge and opportunity, and it’s a real privilege to be given the responsibility of creating one of the most important spaces in your home. I have a degree in Environmental Science, a Permaculture Design Certificate with a Permaculture Diploma underway. I work with schools on nature education and I’m also a qualified project manager. Discovering permaculture was a turning point and has brought additional design skills and perspectives. I believe it’s important to garden organically. Our gardens are mini-nature reserves that we share with all the local wildlife, so I won’t use chemicals or plastic grass and try to minimise hard landscaping where possible.
